Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-01

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Human International website, applications, and related services. By accessing or using the services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or otherwise using the Human International website, applications, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. The Services are not directed to persons in jurisdictions where their use is restricted or prohibited by applicable law, including where such use would require registration, licensing, or other regulatory approval that Human International has not obtained.

3. Modifications

Human International may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

4. Use of the Services

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Services. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services, related systems, or networks.

5. Account, Wallet and Verification

Some features may require connecting a third-party wallet (such as a self-custody wallet or True Wallet, when available) and/or completing identity verification. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials, private keys and recovery phrases. Human International never holds custody of your assets and cannot recover lost credentials.

6. Humanitarian Actions and Submissions

If you submit evidence of a humanitarian action through the Services, you represent that you have obtained all necessary rights and consents to share such evidence, including the informed consent of any individuals depicted or otherwise identified, where applicable. Submissions must not depict, encourage or glorify violence, exploitation, or the violation of any person's dignity or rights.

7. Rewards and Token

Any digital asset referenced on the Services (including the HNI token) is part of a planned ecosystem and is not currently available for purchase, sale or distribution in any jurisdiction where such activity would require registration or licensing. Nothing on the Services constitutes an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or token. Past performance, hypothetical returns, and APY ranges shown are placeholders for illustration only and are not promises.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, downloads, data compilations and software, is the property of Human International or its content providers and is protected by international copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Human International. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Human International does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Human International, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Human International and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

Human International may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. The provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with generally accepted international commercial practice principles, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Where negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the parties shall consider alternative dispute resolution mechanisms appropriate to the circumstances, including mediation or arbitration under internationally recognized rules.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
