Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-01

This Privacy Policy describes how Human International collects, uses, and protects personal information across its website and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, country, free-text submissions, optional KYC information), information collected automatically (IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, timestamps), and information from third-party wallets when you choose to connect them (public wallet address, on-chain transaction data visible on public blockchains). We do not collect private keys or seed phrases.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to operate and improve the Services, to communicate with you about the ecosystem, to verify humanitarian action submissions, to prevent fraud and abuse, to comply with legal obligations, and to provide features such as the impact dashboard and reputation systems.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies and local storage items to remember your language preference, to maintain session state, and to analyze aggregate traffic. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser at any time; doing so may reset your preferences.

4. Beneficiary Privacy

We protect the dignity and privacy of individuals who benefit from humanitarian actions. We do not collect, store, or display personally identifying information about beneficiaries without their informed consent. Submissions that include identifiable images or details of beneficiaries must include evidence of appropriate consent.

5. Public Blockchains

When you connect a wallet or perform on-chain actions, certain information (wallet address, transaction hashes, amounts) is recorded on public blockchains. Public blockchains are inherently public and permanent; information written to them cannot be deleted by Human International.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers that help us operate the Services under confidentiality obligations; (b) legal or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law; and (c) the public, but only the information you choose to publish through the Services (such as your public profile and verified actions).

7. International Transfers

Human International operates as a global ecosystem. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We take steps designed to ensure that your information receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which it is processed.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@humaninternational.net. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet credentials, devices and accounts.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child in error, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page of the Services for a reasonable period.
